I went in to upgrade my phone after getting a quote from Michael earlier in the day. I checked in, was put in the queue, and waited well over an hour—some of that time in my car, most of it in the store. When Michael was finally available (around 6:30, with the store closing at 7), he told me he couldn’t help set up my phone because they were closing soon. When I make an appointment I still end up waiting nearly an hour for someone to help me. I’ve had multiple rude interactions with the female manager there.

Most Verizon stores I’ve been to feel pretty transactional, people just going through the motions, waiting for their shift to end. But not this one. We were greeted with a genuine smile the moment we walked in and introduced to Lorsey, who completely changed my expectations of what a phone store visit can be.
