I made an appointment online yesterday for 1 PM. I was going to trade in my mom‘s iPhone 14. I was helped by Denise. When I came in, I let them know that I made an appointment and I gave them my phone number not realizing that they were asking for the number that was being traded in. Has this Verizon company store location forgotten how appointments are made or work? This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a phone company. I switched to Verizon from AT&T because of a promotion offering savings when purchasing multiple devices. I only needed the phone and tablet, not the watch. I placed my order over the phone and went to the Verizon store on University Drive in Coral Springs to pick it up—only to find out they gave me the wrong phone. Terrible experience. I came in to reactivate and change my old plan—simple enough. Instead, they set me up with a whole new plan and gave me a second line I never asked for. When I asked them to cancel it, they didn’t even know how and had to call customer service to do it for them. Then they told me I couldn’t trade in my phone, but customer service later confirmed I could. No one at the store made any effort to help.
