Worst experience I’ve ever had with a business. All I wanted to do was upgrade my iPhone 14 Pro to an iPhone 17. I was told they could upgrade my plan without losing any of my services, and they could save me money. It ended up raising my bill $9/month, but I still agreed to gain all the additional perks. Came in to get an iPhone 17 I ordered. I requested assistance in setting up my new phone in the app, but when I mentioned this to the lady working, she got irritated. Why do people get upset when you ask for help. It’s their job to help you with the phone. My experience was good up until my request for assistance in setting up my new phone. On top of that, the new phone was not done setting up when she sent me on my way. Guess I’ll go to another Verizon store where people don’t get pissed about having to do their job.
I had an exceptional experience at this Verizon Wireless store, thanks to Aubrey Campbell. I came in frustrated after spending significant time trying to obtain a port-out PIN for my Verizon Wireless Prepaid account. The process had been confusing and unproductive through other channels. We saw Allie the short hair lady at the oak park mall location. She was so shady and our gut feeling was right, on top of the new iPhones we were there for, she said we can get an iPad for free with a purchase of 10$ a month plan. But she didn’t mention the astronomical upfront charges that showed in the next bill, and the monthly plan turned out to be $25 a month not $10 as she mentioned. I definitely wouldn’t get the iPad had I known all this, typical bait and switch m.
