Stopped in for a simple iPad transfer to my account. The manager checked me in and told me to have a seat, even though there was only one other customer in the store. He sat back down and played on his device while I waited and waited. Not sure what this was all about but I waited. Finally, having other things to do I left as he continued to play on his device. From a rude manager to technicians who know nothing and will not even transfer data to a new phone, avoid this business as if your life and data depends on it. My sister and I went to this office to transfer the account from her name to mine and they could not have been less helpful and RUDE. Two weeks later and the account is still in my sisters' name.
WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! NIGHTMARE! NIGHTMARE! NIGHTMARE! (Preface: I am not exaggerating. This is a true story.) I had to return to this store FOUR TIMES just to get service started. A fifth time I went to the store in Paso. I was without phone and internet for four days. Two weeks after getting service, I attempted to upgrade -- to give them more money! -- via the app. FAIL. Believe the bad reviews. I went in to resolve a messaging issue with a new phone. The employee looked at my phone for about 90 seconds, restarted it and when that didn't work told me I should go to the Apple Store or call tech support. They seemed like they just wanted to get me out of the store so they could sell something to the next customer. I ended up driving to the Verizon store in Los Osos where they were able to resolve my issue in about 10 minutes.
Wow, the rude and snarky representative that “helped” me was almost comically unpleasant. It must be tough to hire for this store or tough to get fired. The guy seemed to be going out of his way to be hostile.
