Absolutely unacceptable experience. My girl went into this Verizon store today for help with a simple billing issue, and the employee completely violated her privacy. After she unlocked her phone, he proceeded to airdrop her personal photos without consent. She only noticed after getting a notification. This is beyond unprofessional, it’s a serious breach of trust and privacy. Do NOT hand your phone to anyone at this location. Verizon needs to take immediate action. English: I had a very disturbing experience at this Verizon store. While a customer service representative was assisting me, he took my phone and, without my consent, accessed my photos and appeared to send images via AirDrop to his own device. I noticed what was happening only after leaving the store. The incident occurred around 11:30–11:35 AM, and I called the police at 11:42 AM (case on file). This was not good. Waited 5min before being greeted and signed in. Lame. I noticed another women waited 15min before being greeted and signed in, That's wild. I was only there to drop my trade in off. Waited 45min, When I was finally seen by an associate the interaction was 1min long. I won't be coming back and no other store has you wait to drop a phone off. The associate was kind.
We have to do better. I entered the store that wasn’t crowded. No greeting, just employees looking my way prior to going back doing what they were doing. Since when aren’t guests greeted. Why is the customer service so horrible? A simple, hello or I’ll be right with you goes a long ways. Just sad.
