This review is specifically for Maria at the Verizon Sonora store. I was able to make an appointment and she kept in touch all the way up till that appointment. The appointment was for my 89-year-old mother to switch from her landline, which she has had for 50+ years, to a cell phone, because AT&T is finally eliminating their landline service. I'd give zero stars if I could. My mom came in to get a new iphone and wanted the 18. After some back and forth the store worker convinced her to get the 17. Immediately after she signed, she realized she forgot to ask about a particular feature she wanted for the camera, and if it was on the 17. The worker said it was not. She asked, still at the store, she had not even walked away from the counter, to get the 18 instead so she could have the feature she wanted. I can’t not Believe these people!!! I had to bring a chair out of my car for my mother-in-law to sit down when there was two empty seats behind the counter that they could’ve offered when nobody was even sitting down on them. He literally told me they were occupied. Are you kidding me? She’s almost 80 years old.
I waited over an hour while two clients ahead of me were being helped, only to be told by the Verizon associate—standing uncomfortably close to my face—that they couldn’t assist me. During the wait, I noticed an elderly client forced to sit on the floor due to a lack of seating. I also saw at least two other potential customers leave without purchasing a screen protector and charger because of the long wait time.
