If I could give this particular store and sales team zero stars, I would. My family and I have been Verizon customers for approximately eight years and have experienced minimal issues with customer service or communication. My husband and I both upgraded our phones within the last six weeks, and we initially believed we were receiving the same promotional deal. Came in with high hopes, left with a terrible taste in my mouth!! 1) The associates working forced me to add a 2nd line to my phone plan for "promotional", or else my monthly payment will go up $20. 2) They tried to sneak in the 3 day/monthly international travel monthly charge on the phone without telling me, and i forced them to take it off. 3) When asked to if i could keep/destroy my old phone chip, they said they couldn't do that for security purposes. Recently moved to town (and the US) and needed to get set up with all new devices and Ryan was very helpful, he was knowledgeable, friendly and didn’t make me feel rushed or pushed into a product I didn’t want. He made the already stressful time a positive experience and I will be going back to see him for anything I need in the future :)
Had a very positive experience at the 23rd and Iowa, Lawrence, KS store with Chris helping to set up our new Verizon phones and service. He was knowledgeable and efficient. There was a glitch in transferring from our former cell carrier due to our purchasing online but picking up and activating phones in store. Chris and his colleague Jesse were patient and resourceful in solving the problem. In the future, we will go directly to this store and ask for Chris, rather than shopping Verizon online.
Ryan was amazing!! Super helpful. Knew the answers to all our questions or knew who to point us to! 12 out of 10 recommend him!!
