UPDATE as of 3/5 - We have NOT heard from Verizon or encountered any type of resolution despite filling out the form they linked 2 separate times. At this point, we believe they are just commenting to save face and portray the image that they are taking care of their customers. So I just left verizon and Adam Leist just said i need to hire an attorney. When I signed up for business Internet, they told me if it didn’t work to return it so I did because I moved and it didn’t work there. So I’ve been paying for this Internet box for a whole year now, but I can’t use and haven’t used and mailed back to them. I am absolutely disgusted by the predatory, grifting practices of the Petoskey Verizon store. This store has taken advantage of a grieving family and continues to not rectify the situation. My husband visited the store on October 29, 2024 (3 weeks after the unexpected death of our 17 year old daughter) to upgrade his phone. The employee helping him insisted that we would save money if he switched our account to a business account. The sales people are scam artist. I specifically asked how much my bill would be $152 was what I was told that is so close to the $766 bill I got. I got the wifi I specifically said I have the tv on every night all night and was told my usage would never go over. In less than 2 weeks the next thing I know is I have a bill for almost $800. I am now an AT&T customer. Worst customer service.
Much better customer service than ATT. That place can kick rocks… big ones… This Verizon store is much more user friendly with way more variety, and the people seem to care way more about their customers and are extremely welcoming. Adam does a great job and always does right by the customers.
