I’ve been a Verizon Customer for 22+ years. After upgrading to an iPhone 16 I was assured by the Verizon representative that my monthly payment would remain the same & there would be no charges incurred for the device. In turn I was to remain a customer for 36 months. My bill continued to go up every month, after numerous calls & no resolve, I attempted to switch carriers. I then received a bill for nearly $800. Went to Cleveland yesterday to get my new phone activated because I was unsuccessful over the phone. Walked in and told the sales person what I needed, immediately he said it will be 29.00 to activate????? I said well can you help me put my email back on the phone, he did do that. Then I explained again I just received this phone from Verizon and was trading in my old phone can you help activate, finally he did.
