Honestly, I dread having to call Verizon. Stopping by in this case for a new phone worked perfectly. Even when you think you know what you want, there's always a wrinkle. Thank you for your patience
I went into the store today to get an upgrade on my phone and add a line. Matthew had the most amazing customer service I’ve had in a while. He was beyond pleasant to work with and his demeanor was very calming. He explained everything I had questions on and took the time to break down my new plan and bill. I would be thrilled to work with him anytime I had a problem or question. Thank you Matthew.

TLDR: I got great service. It just took a while. Who knows how it happened but a phone that had been returned didnt get credited properly and my autopay was going to take an extra $800 to pay for it. I went in to the downtown store and waited for 1/2 hour and she never even greeted me. She was helping someone but there should have been at least a nod! Our movie was starting so we finally left. Verizon has terrible customer service and recently switched their phone lines to an AI model. It took me 6 calls to simply set up a new phone, with no option to talk to a human. Inefficient technology being used to subsidize Verizon's profits at the expense of the customer. Terrible Edit: They also apparently have an automated service to reply to reviews, taking the separation between customer and service one step further
