I was told they would add voicemail to new phone. Didn't happen. Told them I didn't have my phone no. And they assumed I had a phone. They wouldn't give me my password for my hot spot. And they wouldn't take 2 month payments.... Unable to take more than one month's payment. What a difference 5 yrs makes. Was a victim of phasing and the guys at the store verified. Stopped into the Verizon store in Norridge today and, wow… what an experience. The manager — a younger woman with an attitude big enough to fill the store — clearly wanted nothing to do with helping us. We came in trying to return a trade-in phone that didn’t even work, and instead of listening to why we were there, she basically told us her job didn’t require her to explain Verizon’s policies. I received the worst service of my life at this Verizon store. They opened a business account for me and promised an $800 discount on my iPhone 16. I traded in my old phone, but I never received the discount. Instead, I was charged the full price — $130 per month. For six months, I kept coming back to get the issue fixed. Every time, they told me everything was fine and that they had fixed it. But the money kept being taken from me again and again.
