The Verizon store in Athens Ohio was not helpful. When I replaced a broken phone I was shoved out the door without setup after paying $40 for " setup for success." Charging our account for 3 products not discussed or authorized. Calling customer service is a joke. Was on the phone for 55 minutes and 25 seconds. Still not sure we got anything resolved. I wouldn't even give one star if I didn't have to.
I went in the Verizon store yesterday. Asking for assistance over my billing. My phone was suspended, but I couldn't get ahold of any actual people on my phone. I didnt have an way to call Verizon. When I walked in two female employees just say there talking to each other. After requesting for help. They told me to call 611 for assistance and then continued doing absolutely nothing. My In-laws transferred from AT&T and opened account on 3/12/25. It has been an absolute nightmare getting them the credit/offer that was offered to them. After 5hr, 3hr and 2hr meeting with the Athens, Ohio service people, nothing was accomplished. We even resorted to calling Verizon customer support line, with no end, totally up to 8hrs recorded phone interaction time.
