Made an appointment right when they opened the morning of 10/15/25 at Makala Blvd location due to broken phone requiring replacement. They asked me for a photo ID and I gave them a valid photo ID issued by the State of Hawaii. They stated it was not good enough for them, wrote a phone number on a post-it note for me to call, then dismissed me from the store. I was the only customer in the store. I visited the Verizon store at Kona Commons on June 11, 2025, at 12:30 PM to exchange my phone, less than 30 days after signing up for service. Initially, the customer service rep Marissa was helpful, but due to complications with my phone plan and device, I spent over four frustrating hours in the store.
