All I wanted to know was whether they had the new iPhone in stock and I was forced to sign into a queue. No one would speak to me until my time was called. I signed up, 30 mins later, I got a message from the Verizon app and was told I would be called within 10 minutes. I stood there for another 30 minutes. I came into the store to upgrade my phone. I picked out a phone and was prepared to pay cash for it. However, the sales person told me about a promotion that was too good to be true and I told him that it didn’t make sense. I also told him that I did not want to pay over a certain amount of money per month, and he assured me that I wouldn’t . Horrible experience trying to drop off my old phone, the lady Joyce helping me was not helpful and not knowledgeable on how to handle the process. Instead, I was on the phone for one hour with a very patient customer service agent at the same time trying to solve the problem. I got my problem solved not from Joyce but from the customer service agent on the phone while Joyce kept going to the back of the store and I had no way of asking help from her. Zero stars if possible.
Had a pretty disappointing experience at this store. I came in with a very clear request — to upgrade my plan with more hotspot data — but instead of helping me with that, they repeatedly pushed other services I didn’t want and challenged almost everything I said. For example, when I told them, ‘I cannot install internet in the building because I’m not the owner,’ they said things like, ‘Why not? You’re working there, right? I'm sorry there's no way to give a lower rating than what I did. The store manager and associates lied about the prices, promotions and that in North Caldwell, NJ there would be service. There is no consistent service in our house or while driving around our town. Every month our bill goes up and after 45 minutes of speaking with a manager, Verizon sees the mistake.
