This place is drastically going down hill. NP is partially retired, has limited availability. We had emergency questions, and the best staff could do was pass along our questions and wait two days for a response. We love the faith-backed approach, but the OB doesn't have hospital privileges anywhere near the clinic, and with the NP's very limited hours, Veranova just can't provide adequate care anymore. I love that this office is faith-based and truly appreciate their values and love for God. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because during my initial call to inquire about an appointment, the person I spoke with was a bit off-putting, spoke very loudly, and didn’t seem very knowledgeable, which made the experience less pleasant. However, when I called back later, I spoke with a very kind and helpful assistant who got me scheduled right away. I’m excited to start this new journey!
They DO NOT BELIEVE IN BIRTH CONTROL and will NOT prescribe it. They will NOT tell you this when you make your first appointment. I made an appointment as I am new to the area and due for my annual to have my bc refilled. Guess who will be missing birth control this month because they FAILED TO INFORM ME. A birth control that is used to treat a medical condition and not just to prevent conception. Not to mention this will mess with my hormones and mood. Shameful and honestly medically negligent. After receiving a phone call from the ob/gyn at this office, I am editing my review slightly to reiterate that this place has a truly wonderful approach to healthcare and their doctors and staff are very responsive. They do wonderful things for women and help a lot of them with fertility issues. Like others have shared, I had multiple negative experiences with the NP, so I have personally chosen to go elsewhere for my care. Veranova has been such a blessing for my wife and I. The staff has gone above and beyond during times of confusion and emergencies. We have never encountered such warm hearted people in the medical profession, and their ability to communicate quickly and effectively inside and outside of the office is most appreciated. Dr. Beeman specifically has also been the source of a lot of much needed healing in difficult times and I don't know what we would do without him.
