Wasn't impressed with my stay, bed sheets looked they hadn't been washed from the previous guest.
Love The Verandah! Have stayed there for years. Visit Gympie annually and always stay here for a week. Beautiful poinciana out front makes me smile. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good local information provided. Excellent location in leafy, beautiful neighbourhood. Good sized windows with superb airflow, allows the intoxicating scent of jasmine to enter on a Gympie summer evening. Lovely old-school, drive up to your room motel. Last stay was beginning of 2026. Good basic hotel. Well serviced but a bit noisy in the early evening and early morning.
A nice little motel in the suburbs of Gympie, quiet and comfortable.
Lovely little place, off the main road. Next to no noise. The room was a bit dusty on the floors, bedsides not cleaned inside. Other than that, ok for an overnight stay.
