Charming lunch spot with high quality soups and sandwiches
This was our first time at Veranda and we’ll definitely be back on our next visit to Black Mountain. Extremely friendly and attentive service, quiet atmosphere. I had the chicken gyro and my husband had the tuna salad sandwich. Both were large portions, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend bringing a big appetite!
We came here for a quick lunch during our day in Black Mountain. Atmosphere: Veranda is located in the cute little town of Black Mountain. The cafe is quaintly decorated on the inside. It is very nice and clean. They let us park our stroller at the front. Restrooms: They have two single use restrooms. One has a changing pad for babies. Both of their restrooms were very clean. First time here and I have to say my wrap was fantastic!!! The best I have had in a long time! We all enjoyed our food however…. Our waitress did not want to wait on us from the get go. Looking back maybe we came in too close to closing time which unfortunately we were oblivious to. She was sooo rude and didn’t even give us enough time to order a drink after ordering a round of waters. She didn’t even come back at the end of our meal to give us the check. 🤷🏻♀️
