I purchased my dress from Venus Bridal Collection and I could not have been any happier! I went to every bridal shop in Maryland but could not find the right dress. I went to Venus Bridal, on my search for the perfect dress for my destination wedding. When I walked in, I was greeted by a smiling sales girl and what appeared to be her father and uncle at the front desk. That's where the customer service stopped. She told me to go pick out some dresses I liked, which I did.She never asked me what I was looking for, what type of wedding I was having or anything. She seemed uninterested in really helping me. I bought my wedding dress from Venus Bridal and it was the dress of my dreams! After visiting seven other bridal salons in the VA-MD-DC area, I finally found the dress at Venus. Their dress selection and service are excellent. They are very attentive to the bride: the salesperson was able to alter my dress and make the bustle exactly how I wanted it. I also really enjoyed the set-up of the shop- it is a great atmosphere to try on wedding dresses. I highly recommend this place to all future brides!

The shop is lovely, spacious. The owners are patient and supportive - plus all alterations are done on the premises - no worries about your dress getting lost. So enjoy some tea (they served us hot tea) - relax and enjoy getting the dress of your dreams!

I just received my bridesmaid dress from this store, 4 months after ordering it, and it's about 3 sizes too large. The salesperson was rude to the bride on multiple occasions, and all of the bridesmaid dresses are considerably too large. The store also does alterations, and I can only assume that the dresses were ordered too large to create extra business. The salesperson also refused to give any estimation of when the dresses would arrive, only saying "I told you it would take a while." I would reccomend looking elsewhere f... read more
