10/10!!! Brooke was the best to work with! My company is from TX and hosted a 45th anniversary party during a conference we were attending in Chicago. She went above and beyond to help me figure out food options and coordinate deliveries since I wasn't local. The party turned out perfect! The venue itself is charming - minimal to no decor needed. If I ever need to host a party in Chicago again, I'd most definitely book with Brooke.
We recently had a chance to FINALLY see this space. What a cool vibe. Perfect location for guests in the city and visiting us while enjoying McCormick Place. I love the multiple floors for pre-function and main event. Great acoustics for bands and DJs and a great vibe all around. Cannot wait to go there again!
We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Venue OverDrive this past weekend, and I can't say enough good things about the event and the staff. Brooke at VOD helped craft a package with exactly what we needed (space for a small rehearsal dinner with 18 people and a welcome party with 40-ish afterward) with custom pricing that felt completely fair. Had my husband's surprise 40th here (on the 3rd floor) and everyone enjoyed it. The venue and staff were very inviting and accommodating. The layout is great for partying on one end and lounging at the opposite end. I would highly recommend this space for events! Thank you, Brooke and Roger, for the wonderful service!
Staff were so easy to work with and organized. They set us up with the blues band so we didn't have to organize anything. We were able to bring our own catering, several bar packages to choose from and the alcohol provided was pretty good. They let us tour the venue in advance, the contract is flexible to number of people who show up (with a minimum), the staff who helped day of were super helpful, friendly, and welcoming.
