Do your research, not all units are well maintained, not so much "modern" just OLD and not clean. I was concerned with bed bugs, while I didn't see any evidence of that, I did see cock roaches and that's a NO-GO for me. I had maintenance out the first day for several issues, E.g., blown bulbs, TV's not working, garbage left by previous guest, WIFI not established and issues with the golf cart.
