I called to schedule an EMG ordered by my physician. The receptionist insisted I needed prior authorization, despite my insurance explicitly not requiring prior authorization for this procedure. She refused to schedule anything until I contacted my referring doctor to “try to get a PA.” When I explained that my insurance does not require one, she responded condescendingly that she’s “been doing this a long time, some insurances do,” and refused to listen. A fantastic place. Staff was extremely helpful said hi and smiled which I like. Jessica was the nurse who took ne back. She was sweet, happy, friendly and professional raise for her $$$ lol. Dr. Pierson very kind. I waited maybe 3 minutes, did a nerve test was friendly even apologized for any discomfort. Been in hospitals and Dr offices on and off since I was 6 months old thanks to birth defect. I have been to horrible places this wasn't one. Was a pleasure to go there. I used to have no choice.
