I would not recommend Ventana by Buckner. My father stayed at this facility for a few months, and unfortunately, there were multiple lapses in his care. Despite bringing up concerns to higher-level staff, it was clear that some nurses were not doing their job properly. While one staff member did listen and address some of his needs, it took repeated complaints to get even the most basic level of care. I stayed here for 3 weeks last November. I thought Ventana was wonderful then, even though it took a while to get my nurse call button answer I had to return at end of February and it was awful. Most of the nursing staff spoke English as a second language. I could mostly understand them, but they couldn’t understand me. Additionally, they were very slow to answer the call button. I will give the service a 50/50 because some of the nurses were so unprofessional and unfriendly. Have zero charisma. I’m glad my mom isn’t staying here anymore.

My mother stayed here for rehab for about 2 weeks. Everything was well organized, the communication was good, the facilities were spotless, the food was excellent and the staff were friendly and well trained. We were very happy with everything. Thank you for helping my mother to get well again!
