I am in Ventana by Buckner now. I broke my right knee and right shoulder falling off a ladder. Everything here is fine, except getting attention from a nurse.
Ventana invited us to a lecture by Dr. Ken Cooper on Thursday 4/16/2026. We R.S.V.P.'d by phone. Upon arrival they could not find our name on the list and they refused us entry into the lecture! This happened with about 20 other invitees as well. The desk clerk. said they were full. I asked for them to simply put extra chairs at the back of the room to accommodate all 20 of us since it was their mistake about the clerical error of not recording the phone RSVP's. All personnel have been very helpful and kind. Therapy very helpful. And Josh the Administrator has been very helpful. Thank you for my stay and I would recommend others to Ventana.
My mom was here for 20 days. A huge thank you to Andrew with the transportation service department. Andrew was so kind to my parents. My mom truly loved talking to you. Thank you. Valerie with the same department was truly a blessing as well. You guys have a great team. Thank you for treating my mom so well. My dad was able to stay by my moms side each day. This place is not what it appears to be. Don’t trust all the positive reviews many of them are written by employees trying to boost the rating. The nursing staff here has been one of the worst I’ve experienced. ventana pays very low wages, which results in poorly trained or unmotivated nurses who don’t provide the level of care AL residents deserve.
