Can't get enough of Veneto's. A must go every trip to O'side. Great food, great people, and awesome service. Even though the name has changed, it is still owned by a different branch of the same family. Same recipes, same awesome food! Love this place.
Overall a bit disappointed. We’ve had great experiences here in the past. The lasagna is great, and many of the pasta dishes are too. The service has been mostly good in the past or hit or miss. This past visit was different. We were seated by the bartender without being greeted or welcomed. We had to request place settings and water and our table wasn’t even visited after being seated for a good 10 minutes. The calamari was awesome, really tasty. The lasagna was wonderful and enough to take some home. Caesar salad was great. Great service. We’ve driven by a bunch of times and glad we stopped in, we’ll definitely be back.
This was such an easy great place to eat. The staff goes above and beyond to help you (many local Marines doing a second job). The parking is ample. Getting in and out of busy Oceanside a breeze. The food leaves you wanting more and the selection is fantastic. When we came back from Italy we wanted a mom and pop restaurant not an overpriced Italian chain and this does not disappoint!
