Had a wonderful experience with 4 other friends at Venda cafe yesterday. The food was delicious, the staff so attentive and enjoyed the atmosphere, felt like we were in Italy. Talked with the owner before I knew he was the owner and he was gracious also.

I've eaten there, twice. It's not like I remembered it in the 60s, 70s. It think it has been identified as "the place to be seen eating or purchasing Italian food". OK but not overly impressed. I think I've spent too much time eating in Italy and I expect it to be the same.
everyone is always beyond friendly and helpful.. food is amazing, portions very fair for the price. We were looking for something very specific in the market, In had just come off the truck and someone was sent out back to get it for us because there was none on the shelf. Now that I have moved out of the area, this is a MUST stop every time I am in town
