Several months ago, I had an infection, which was the result of a mesh implant during a surgery in a hospital in Central Florida. I was given a referral by my attending physician to seek out an infection control physician to see if the infection could be at the very least held at bay. Lauren Leeflang, was the Physician Assistant that was assigned to me,and she was able to keep the infection from spreading, and at the very least, kept it bay.
