The 1st time I went to a velvet taco, it was in Texas and when I saw one in Dunwoody, I said we gotta go. The staff were super friendly. We ate the food so fast, I kinda forgot to take pictures. 🤣🤣. If you're nearby, stop in. Your taste buds will thank you. We got the paneer and cauliflower tacos which were on point! We also tried the chicken and waffles and French dip tacos; both were good but didn't pair with our taste buds as much as we would of liked but TRUST we ate them! Velvet Taco was really good. Tacos were fresh, creative, and full of flavor. Fast service and a great overall experience.
Loved the ideology of bringing two cultures together but the wasn’t the best.
this was the second time our company has ordered from this specific location. both times we have had an extremely excessive wait time, regardless of putting our order in at least a week in advance. the workers are always in honey-bee mode, as if time-management is not apart of their routine. that said, they have little patience for their customers. customer service could be so much better. would recommend another location, for sure!
I got a Hatch Chili Pork taco, a Bacon Smash Burger taco, a Chimichurri Steak taco, and a Red Curry Coconut Queso and a fountain drink for $28. The Hatch Chili Pork taco had a lot of meat on it. The spice was about a medium. The flavor was what I expected and it very good. I didn't notice any bacon flavor in the Bacon Smash Burger taco, but the beef flavor jumped out like a really good smash burger patty! I really enjoyed this one!
