This is difficult for me because I really enjoyed the other locations. However, I’m certain that I got food poisoning from this location on Sunday. Now, it will be difficult for me to continue supporting any velvet taco because the thought of the food now upsets my stomach.
Delicious
Decent tacos that are about $6-$7 each. They have plenty of flavors from salmon, shrimp, to brisket, etc. Tacos are loaded with a pretty good amount of protein, vegetables, and sauces. I would say 2-3 tacos are good to fill up the average person. Great seating area outside with plenty of tables and shade. Overall not too bad. Very similar to Torchy's.
This place is just okay. I don't think it will replace Torchy's tacos across the street for me.
Koah (pronounced qua) was an excellent cashier and server. He patiently went over menu items and menu recommendations. The only dessert sold is their giant red velvet cake, but most definitely worth the try. Did I mention that our tacos and nachos were delicious?!! The tacos are also a pretty nice size. This is a great place for a date night or for just hanging with friends. The outside set-up is partially covered but looked inviting. Give it a try!!
