My son and I stopped by this afternoon for a quick bite, and I'm so glad we did! Everything we had was delicious, and the staff was so friendly! The space is clean and inviting, and if you sit upstairs there's a lovely view perfect for people watching. I had the mexi-cali shrimp taco and the cauliflower taco. My son had a steak quesadilla from the kids menu. Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert. The homemade red velvet cake is not to be missed! We will definitely be back!
Beware: Tip Scam at Velvet Taco Randolph — Happened to All 10 of Us!” Warning: Watch Your Receipt! Came here because my cousins raved about it — left disappointed. Food is just a glorified Chipotle at higher prices, but worse, the cashier Julian S. changed my “No Tip” choice to $3.50 without my consent. Found out he did the same thing to others in my group. This feels like a daily tip scam. I won’t be back. Food was watered down and very, very salty for one of my group members. Smh T OK now how do I submit this?
Veg. Options of Tacos were delicious. What really takes the meal to the next level is pairing them with the queso.
I have been to 2 other Velvet Taco places, this was just a good, and the food was amazing. We had vegetarian options, fish options for non meat eater. It was fun, cozy, and flavorful food that didnt break the bank.
