The atmosphere is great, elote was amazing, birria tacos were good but had very little meat and only come with 2. I ordered a strawberry lemonade that i saw they had by the cashier looked like freshly made juice, and when i took a quick sip and it had alcohol in it. I've been sober for 6 months and was pretty upset about it because there was no sign and they didn't ask for my ID either i won't say who because i don't want anyone getting fired but i do think you should put a sign saying CONTAINS ALCOHOL, or just let your cust... read more
Vegetarians know, San Antonio restaurants generally aren’t great at making clear what our options are on their menus. I appreciated that Velvet Taco not only had veggie options clearly marked, they had multiple options and a couple of tasty ones at that! I had all 3 of the veg tacos and really liked both the cauliflower and paneer ones. Tofu one left something to be desired. Service was pretty slow, too. There was almost no one in there. Drinks were good, food was good, menu is super cool and very unique, but the presentation was just okay. Not hot once served, and for the price, I’d expect better. I think there are better spots for the money in town, especially this area
