This location is more expensive and doesn’t have the full menu. They don’t have red curry queso. They don’t let you do the say what combo which is the best deal at every other location. They take forever to greet you. Honestly, this location is just trash in comparison to what is usually a good brand.
Had a good lunch at Velvet Taco in Assembly Food Hall. Got the mexi-Cali shrimp taco and the cauliflower taco that were good. The best item was the queso. It was quick, easy and a decent lunch. Not necessarily the most crowded spots in Assembly Food Hall but worth trying out if you haven’t before and are craving tacos.
Absolutely loved the vegetarian tacos, especially the Paneer one! Service was fantastic, and I was even more impressed that they did not overcharge when I asked for a side of rice and beans for my daughter. And then when my daughter wanted more rice, they just gave it to me. We were so touched that we had wanted to go back and leave a tip for a tip jar but when asked if they had one, they said no, that they appreciate it, but would just prefer that we give the tip to someone who needs it. Great food, even better people!
Reasonably priced for Broadway, food was great. Enjoyed hanging out in the food hall with some friends on our last night in Broadway before heading back out to the bars. Would recommend for a quick bite
