Had so much fun riding around Honolulu with Coach Will! The bike he rented to me was superb and the ride was unforgettable.
Stumbled upon this gem of a store as my bike broke down right around the corner. Owners experience / knowledge and bikes at the shop are on a different level but service has been great nonetheless. Highly recommend!
Coach Will is a really down to earth guy. His passion seems to be cycling and his store shows it -- it is full of various gear, accessories, and energy bars. Very nice interior and soft lighting. It is also nice to see a hobby store in the area. I actually came by because I was renting his Kawasaki motorcycle for the weekend. Great motorcycle!
I stopped in because I was just visiting in town and I got a flat tire on my Brompton. Bromptons use 16-in inner tubes. Coach Will not only had the tube in stock, but also had experience installing these on a Brompton, so he was able to sell me the right product for the job. He has a great store, a great road bike selection, and a ton of experience.
It's difficult to describe how amazing my bike tour experience with Will at Velohana was. I reached out months in advance to book a tour with him which was great because his spots fill up quickly. He was a pleasure to communicate with over email and helped guide me through a personalized tour for us. I met him at the shop the morning of the tour, where he set me up with an amazing carbon fiber bike with electronic shifting. He also supplied a helmet and some sunscreen.
