I signed up for a 12:30 appointment. At 10:30, Sentara texted that I was 14th on the waitlist. At 12, they updated that I was 8th. I showed up at 1 because of that, only to be told that I was late and now had to wait 2+ hours to be seen. Bad service when I have an intense flu :/
I made an appointment, checked in before hand, and waited for over an hour. The receptionist is rude and doesn’t seem to care about the patients. I didn’t even get seen because I had to go back to work. So I wasted time and now have to go to another urgent care to be seen.
Since they instated the kiosk check in system, I have had two dumb experiences where I was not fully registered and waited way too long, despite the electronic check in system texting me “you are 2nd in line” then 20 min later “you are 1st in line”. Finally, the receptionist called me up and told me I was NOT fully checked in, and that there is a sign near the kiosk saying I need to also check in at the desk. I made an appointment for stomach pain. I didn't get to see a provider, the receptionist convinced me to go the the ER. The PA at the ER made sure I was okay, but seemed to think I didn't need to be there. This wasteful visit wiped out my paycheck in less than 4 hours. Thankfully I didn't consent to the CT scan I was told by urgent care to ask for. I sat in the lobby for all of 5 minutes. I'm still trying to get refunded my $80 copay for a visit that never happened at this urgent care.
Front receptionist in outpatient center, suite 102 is extremely rude & unprofessional. She has an attitude for no reason and was extremely rude to my friend. Her name was Connie. She also yelled patient information across the lobby several times during our visit.
