I'm 81 11/12ths. My wife took me to an emergency room and they sent me to Sentara. Complexion-grey, temperature-103.8, feeling like death warmed over. I was compassionately cared for and was explained about what was going on every step of the way. After having blood drawn, Chest ex-rayed, pulse and blood pressure measured, pills given, and sweetly given a heated blanket (because I felt cold), and attended to by cheery nurses and a Physician who seemed genuinely concerned, I was discharged (marching orders in hand). Very lovely facility, and courteous, competent staff. I was well taken care of.
I was very disappointed with my experience with Dr. Garrett Ghent. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the level of communication, professionalism, and patient care that I expected. I left the experience frustrated and dissatisfied, particularly with his integrity. I believe patients deserve clear communication, appropriate attention to their concerns, and a professional experience from beginning to end. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr. Ghent.
