I am writing to express significant dissatisfaction with my recent experience with Sentara Urgent Care in South Boston. This was my first visit since the change from Velocity to Sentara. Somehow we’ve always ended up here on a Sunday morning when we’ve gone. When it was velocity, we were in and out within 30 minutes without feeling like our time was rushed through. Today, we waited an hour before the NP “saw” my son. We waited an hour for 3 minutes of the NP’s time. When she came in, she obviously didn’t pay attention to what I wrote on the paper about my son’s symptoms.
