After experiencing two bad RV repair shops in the Raleigh area, I am so pleased with my experience at Velocity RV Wilmington. Warren and the team are confident professionals who treated me like a valued customer. We dropped off our 2019 PowerGlide Cummins diesel-pusher with a list of various items to address. OVER PRICED ! I scheduled my RV for an alignment and an oil change. When I met with Warren he seemed surprised to be told I had an appointment. Then he tells me that “the place” that does alignments might be too busy. At no time was I told that velocity doesn’t do alignments. Then I ask Warren about the cost for oil change. He had a hard time figuring out the cost and then tells me $450 labor charge. At that point I left. I’ll deal with alignment shop myself and get a $150 oil change somewhere else. Terrible experience. This place must hire technicians off the street corner. I've waited a while to post but finally feel motorhome owners need to be aware of the ineptitude of service. Took coach in to have it checked for air leaks. They didn't notice 2 rear bags were totally worthless, pressure protection valve was leaking and a leak around front air tank. $300.00+ later and accomplished absolutely nothing. Supposed to be a Spartan service facility. Stay away, FAR away!
Glad my truck is fixed, although the lack of care in communication was far from par. I was told I’d be contacted as things progressed with cost and just overall down time. Not once was I reached about cost until my vehicle was ready and was surprised with a very high amount to pay. I asked why there was lack of interest in telling me what the cost was and progress.
