We went to Velocity Performance as we had seen they deal in mid-high end cars, and the reviews seemed mainly positive overall. We started with my wife's 2012 Audi A6 that was running very rough, and they found the air intake was stuck in the open position, and recommended re-installing them, and doing a carbon scrub by the intake area. We agreed to the service, and when we got it back we were originally very happy as the car was running smoothly, and the check engine light was off (and had been on for a long time). Avoid Velocity Performance – Pickering Paid $2,500 for a proper downpipe & Stage 2 tune. Instead, they slapped on a tiny 2-inch pipe, called it “custom,” and the car still runs poorly. Multiple mechanics confirmed the work was useless. They promised my car would be ready in 3 days — it took a month and all I got were constant excuses. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with any shop. I ordered a specific set of rims, and not only did they show up way after the promised date, but they weren’t even the right ones. The level of carelessness is shocking. Their customer service is a total disaster ... rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. It’s like they don’t even want your business. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else. This shop is a complete failure.
