I chose to have my sun-damaged dashboard replaced at a local upholstery shop, and they required that my (perfectly fine) windshield be removed for a week for the work to be done (and replaced afterwards). So I contacted Fernanda at Velocity on short notice, and got a very competitive estimate- but she couldn't *promise* that the tech wouldn't break the windshield while doing this- so I took a gamble and decided to do it anyways. We had a cracked windshield, which Velocity was able to come and fix the next day for us. Good price, good quality glass, and good workmanship. We particularly appreciated the communication from both the office and from Carlos, so we knew exactly when to expect his arrival. I wish everything about car ownership were this easy!!
I got my window busted in Oakland. I sent an inquiry and got my window replaced in less than 24 hours. It's great that someone will come to your house and take 45 minutes to replace a window and vacuum up the glass.
I needed to replace my window from a recent break in and was looking for the cheapest price. I called Velocity and spoke to a man named John. He gave me an estimate that was above what i wanted to pay but after explaining how broke i was he referred me to a more affordable shop. When an employee doesn't care about making the sale and just wants to help a customer in need, that's when i know they are true to the business.
