Got my bike serviced at Velo yesterday and couldn't be happier. They quoted on the price of the service, and it cost that much there weren't any plus plus extra fees which is a fresh change from other stores I've been to! Really great stuff, thanks again!
These guys are the best in the business - period! I started using them when they were based in Wilston, near where I lived and I have kept using them despite their move to New Farm. I bought my last bike from them (a Trek 7.5 hybrid) and they organised a complete replacement from Trek when there was a break in the frame. I went to this shop as a complete cycling novice. I've since learned that not only was the advice I was given completely spot on but the staff could have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge made more $$ at my expense but didn't. Great service. Great honest advice. Highly recommended.
I took my bike in for a service and puncture fix and they serviced it and changed the tube and didn't charge the full price as the mechanic said my bike is very old and he can't justify charging the full amount. When it's time for a bike upgrade Velo will be my first choice!
Desperately need a new chain to replace a seriously twisted one. Velo on Brunswick did the changeover very quickly to get us on our way home again. Thanks guys, great work, and very much appreciated.
