If you don’t want to go swimming this is the place for you. They don’t advertise anywhere their strict pool hours and days. Make sure you call the front desk and ask before you book here. Staff was very rude about the pool. Plus the food wasn’t very good.

We recently stayed at Velkommen Inn during a family trip to Lake Meridian State Park, and it truly exceeded our expectations. This is hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in a small town! The rooms were spotless, the pool was clean and inviting, and the views from the pool area were surprisingly beautiful. Our 3rd stay at Velkommen Inn, and this was, again, a very nice time! Clean, comfortable room, eco-friendly amenities, nice breakfast, and refreshing pool. Good internet connection for my long meetings.
