I visited Velindre with a relative. The receptionist and nursing staff were very helpful. But the consultant Betsan Thomas was over an hour and a half late for the appointment which was conducted in a side room with only 2 chairs. My relative was in some pain having waited this long. No apology was provided. A student was also in the room who came in without introduction, and was told to sit on the bed. After my mother suffered a horrendous experience at another facility, I have nothing but thanks for the staff at velindre. Everyone has been outstanding very thorough explanation of everything, staff go above and beyond to facilitate comfort. An absolute blessing thank you all.
