VEGAN, YES. CHINESE, IF EVERY PROVINCE COOKED WITH THE SAME SWEET SAUCE. Veggie Garden is a vegan restaurant that bills itself as Chinese. Vegan it is. The Middle Kingdom is another matter. Where Chinese cooking depends on subtlety — Hunan heat, Cantonese delicacy, the heartiness of the north — here you get uniformity. Spicy, sour, and bitter give way to one sweet sauce. Order what you like. It will taste like the last plate. A missed opportunity.

I have had my fair share of dining experiences, but this was easily one of the most disappointing meals I’ve ever had. To call this establishment a "Chinese restaurant" is an absolute stretch, and labeling the dishes they serve as Chinese food is honestly an insult to the cuisine. If you're looking for somewhere with tons of vegan options, this is the place. It's a comforting restaurant right off the main road and the service is always great. Attentive staff will make sure that you always have what you need while dining in or even when grabbing to go food.

Vegan American Chinese cuisine in a strip mall. They make all the typical favorites using seitan to replace the meats and seafoods. They also have many vegetable and tofu based dishes. The place is unimpressive looking, but the food was delicious. They also had a steady stream of customers both eating in the place and picking up food to take out.
