I had an appointment for 5:30 for acupuncture and called to cancel it at 8am due to an important meeting I had forgotten about. I called to reschedule and explained how burnt out and overwhelmed I was and was told unless I was in the hospital in the emergency I would have to pay $85 for a "short notice" cancellation.
