I would like to congratulate VDOT for the mess they have created at the intersection of LaSalle Ave. A few months ago you closed the on ramp to 64 for a year. Then you destroyed the off ramp onto LaSalle Ave. Evidently that was not enough, you now have shut down one lane coming from Langley causing a bottle neck at the intersection. The one minute green light is an extra bonus to enhance your incompetence. It's funny how VDOT can invest into all kinds of Arrow board trucks and TMA trucks around the hrbt, but we never see VDOT tow trucks. It's funny how VDOT has to call an independent contractor or pay an independent contractor to sit in these areas but it simply won't invest in the infrastructure itself and keep it readily available. I-64 around the HRBT is a parking lot most days simply because a vehicle cannot be moved from the lane of travel
This is ridiculous. I'm stuck on the james river bridge. Been here for 1++ hours. Tremendously reduces my respect for VDOT.
