Over the course of a long treatment I felt that the several physical therapists I saw were professional and effective. Thank you Chris Carmen and Alyson. All of these therapists had really great ideas that were effective in getting my shoulder back to use.

Visited Jessica Bauman, Rheumatology today. I've had good experience with VCU Health over the past 5 years but Jessica was something very special. Punctual, good listener, caring, extremely knowledgable, laid out the options clearly, made recommendations with detailed reasons AND dealt with peripheral concerns including referrals to necessary physicians. Friendly and amusing too. I left feeling all my initial worries had been taken care of fully, as well as some that I had thought would not concern her. Fabulous!

I was told my appointment was too important to do over the phone. I came in and it was explained to me everything was fine, no follow ups needed, no tests were performed. I saw the doctor for 10 minutes and was charged mostly for my time spent in the waiting room. Very deceptive practice. However, the staff is polite and helpful, and the bathrooms were clean. 2/5.
