Overall, I had a positive experience. Most of the staff were kind, caring, and professional. However, there were a few interactions that felt dismissive and insensitive. After sharing my concerns, I noticed an improvement, which I appreciated. I hope continued efforts are made to ensure every patient feels respected and valued.
The hospital is great. The billing department is terrible.
I was a little nervous about my husband going to this ER based off of the reviews I read, but my husband did not have much of a choice. That being said, We had a very pleasant experience from everyone we encountered from the security guard and front desk to all the staff that looked after him. He went in for a foot injury around 9pm and we left the ER at 11:30. i went into the ER for severe lower abdominal pain. The doctor and my nurse were amazing . However, the phlebotomist was not great. I warned her that i had severe vasovagal response when getting blood drawn. It had nothing to do with pain or the needle itself, but blood being pulled. She told me to “just not look at it” and sat me in a chair to get it done, after i told her it’s best to lay me down. Last few times I’ve been I NEVER had a room. Always in the hall with a thin blue sheet or in a side room with no call light to call for the nurse if need be. With these hard hospital chairs! This hospital is the absolute worst!!! Nurses are the worst she put me in this little cubby and didn’t say a word! 0-10 wouldn’t recommend
