I am a disabled veteran that normally uses the VA in Durham, NC for all non-emergency medical needs. The VA has a program called the Care in the Community Program. I started using this program in order to cut down my travel time going to appointments. I began using the Cardiology Dept in the Care Building at VCU Community Memorial Hospital on May 1st of this year. Nurse Practitioner Miki Baird is my Primary Care Provider for this Dept.
