My wife called to set an appointment. She specifically asked if they have gynecologist. Their answer was "yes". The day of the appointment, the so-called gynecologist is not. She didn't even check my wife and just prescribed antibiotics. ANTIBIOTICS FOR EVERYONE, NO MATTER WHAT'S YOUR ILLNESS! So my wife asked for a refund because she's not taking antibiotics for no reason. After a debate with the manager, he agreed to refund our money. Well, it's been 2 weeks and I haven't received anything. Beware of this malpractitioners!
I have good comments about VCC The Gary Center. For one, I have been going to Dr. Duffield for more than a year and I did not think I could walk with my injured knees, I am now walking on them which I am now a believer in Acupuncture works. I also have seen Dr. Mansuri, DO and he makes me feel well cared for and professionally communicates at a level better than the doctor I've been seeing before for 40 years. He tops it above that. i truly do not understand why the VCC gary center has low reviews… i visited them twice this past week and i had a great experience. the front desk staff can be a little cold, but once you talk to them they are helpful. my first visit was with dr mansuri and he was so welcoming and made me feel seen/heard. ive had troubles in the past getting an oncologist referral but dr mansuri made it happen without any issues. im very thankful for him and im excited to have him as my doctor. i also visited the dentist and i absolutely LO... read more
Called days ahead to schedule an appointment for psychiatric care with my referral from insurance and pcp and I called just for that and the receptionist understood it and still put me down for an appointment for a physical . Why would I give you a referral for a physical. Left work and waited for nothing.
This place doesn't accommodate there patients knowing there some with handicap disabilities
