My cat appeared critically ill over a week ago. I couldn't get an appointment right away at my regular veterinary practice. So I took her to VCA Shoreline because they could take her in immediately. I expected that emergency services would cost more. I also expected to have to put down a deposit. Emergency services tend to be very expensive and I'm sure a lot of people skip out on the bill. I am in such disbelief, i went there with my dog who is showing chronic internal discomfort. I sat there for about 40 mins waiting. I and a hispanic woman came around the same time. 6 white people came after with no appointments and was seen right away before us. We were is such disbelief that we left! In 2021 where we should be past racism i am so disappointed to have had such an experience!
