I brought my dog 7/24 but I’m a little confused because I provided vaccine history and they gave my 3 month old pup a vaccine she already had 17 days prior. I’m worried I just realized I paid for a vaccine for no reason my dog already had it and I provided that information with them.
First of all the VCA animal hospital I visited was on Atwood Ave in Cranston and not EP. Cranston location squeezed me in their schedule. Efficient staff at the desk. Once in exam room with a vet assistant I was asked questions about my newly adopted kitten's health. All questions were welcomed and answered with knowledgeable info. The doctor gave a complete check up to include complimentary nail cutting. Very friendly and professional.
The people that work there OK. This place is certainly for wealthier folks… To charge over 800 dollars to neuter a cat is baffling to me ($300 for the blood work and $500 for the neuter). If you’re looking for more family friendly costs, find a local private vet and not owned by a private equity firm
