RecommendedI recently boarded my two dogs at VCA Old Town and was very pleased with the excellent attention and care they received while they were there. Careful attention was paid to special diet and med requirements & they were exercised and given play time too. I also appreciated that VCA vet tech’s took the time to give me updates about them while I traveled overseas (including photos). Great job VCA Old Town!
Our dogs just love the doctors and staff at this location. Dr McLean is especially kind to our little Peanut!
VCA has always gone above and beyond for me and my fur babies and I can’t thank them enough. They’ve not only taken great care of them, but they also take great care of their very anxious mother. They were also there for me when my baby Shiva passed away and really made me feel like we were part of a family. I can’t recommend them enough.
We are so thankful for Dr. Henigen, Katie, Nichol and the entire VCA Old Town Medical Team. When the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria rescued Mel, VCA and Dr. Henigen literally saved her life by removing massive cancerous glands. They never stopped fighting for Mel and provided her with ongoing chest X-rays and extensive follow-ups. They gave Mel light. Love this animal hospital. The staff and vets (especially Dr. Hennigan) are AMAZING. Always a smile and a lot of great advice to help my fur legged kid be the healthiest he can be. Highly recommend!!!

I have seen Dr Lewis multiple times for my sphynx cat. She was amazing with her. Even though my kitty wasn't the happiest patient, Dr Lewis and her staff handled her very patiently and lovingly. I am so happy with their services that I have brought my kitten back to her.
