I can't thank Dr. Caroline Thornberry, Dr. Kevin de Moya, and every single member of the staff at VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists enough. They performed an outstanding emergency surgery on my dog and truly saved his life. From the welcoming front desk team to the skilled surgery and nursing staff, it was an incredible group effort marked by compassion and expertise. We're so grateful—thank you all!
Please please please check other emergency clinics. Unless your pet is absolutely in life or death at the moment, it is so much more worth waiting at the busy emergencies. This one was 4 times the price of the others, but quick to get into because of it. So for absolute dire emergencies, this would work for no wait. But otherwise, save the thousands of dollars and just wait at the other emergencies around.
These people tricked myself, my wife and my father into believing we had no other option than to put down our beloved pet. They lied to us about what was wrong with him and then continued to lie after I tried to get answers. The chart notes were changed and several members of this organization failed to show any kind of remorse for what happened. Very caring and kind vetranarian. Took care of Rowdy Rudy's bleeding ear and patched him up with kindness. I would definitely recommend this Vetranary Hospital.
We recently came here due to our kitty Oliver having a blockage. The vet did such a good job explaining to our daughter why we were going to have to make the hard choice to put him down. Every staff member was so kind to all of us and so kind to Oliver. When we picked him up to take him to a crematory, he was in a little white coffin with him name and hearts on it. They also made us the cutest little vials of fur. During such a hard time, they showed so much compassion.
